It takes a few seconds: the key is generated the moment you submit the form, and the download link appears on the same page.
Already registered and lost your link? Use the same email address on the key form — that reissues both the key and the link. You do not need to ask anyone.
Why the installer is behind a key
Halyard Mail is a beta. If a build has to be pulled — and builds have been pulled before — we need to be able to tell everyone running it. That only works if we know who has it.
Registering takes one form and a few seconds, and the download link appears on the same page as your key.
